Recently, I have been dealing with various health issues including high blood pressure and gastroesophageal reflux disease along with a hiatal hernia. In February 2025, I was diagnosed with hairy cell leukemia, a treatable form of cancer with a very high success rate. That would have explained my low blood cell counts and enlarged spleen. Treatment for this began in June 2025 by taking Cladribine intravenously for five consecutive days. This was followed by eight consecutive weekly Rituximab infusions in August and September 2025. In July 2021, I broke my clavicle when I slipped and fell on the floor at home. I underwent surgery to remove my clavicle this winter. I also had all four of my wisdom teeth extracted in late October 2025. I was supposed to have them removed when I was 19 but held off since they did not bother me at the time. A CT scan taken in 2025 revealed that I also have degenerative disc disease in my lower back. After seeing a spine specialist, he told me that this is common with age and nothing to worry about. As long as I take it easy, I should be fine. He told me to contact him if I experience sciatica nerve issues or any paralysis. I have also been dealing with nausea and gastroenterological issues, which I am currently seeing a gastroenterology specialist. I have also been dealing with anxiety and panic attacks, which come and go unexpectedly for several years. This could possibly be a vagus nerve issue, which I may consider seeking a neurologist as well. That's middle age life. I will discuss everything in further detail in my upcoming book. Also, my dog Apollo has been missing since July 2024, and has not been found for two years. He could be in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area or possibly in the San Bernardino, California area (where he was originally from). A webpage on this site is coming soon. He is a 9 year old Chihuahua-Manchester Terrier mix, has mostly short black fur with tan and white trim, and weighs around 17 pounds. He is a small dog that is fearul and will run away when approached. He has a microchip which will help identify him. He could have been captured by homeless people or wildlife (most likely by coyotes or mountain lions), or still on the run. I will continue to look for him no matter how long it takes.
